It should be read together with the Park Assign Terms & Conditions and User Consent & Permission Agreement.

1. Device Permissions and Data Access

Permission/Data Purpose When Used Mandatory/Optional Location Nearby parking, parked vehicle location, QR move alert validation, SOS location sharing, emergency tracking, navigation and safety features. While using the app, and background/continuous only when a specific active feature such as SOS/emergency tracking is enabled. Optional, but required for location-based features. Contacts Adding emergency contacts, inviting secondary owners, sharing safety alerts or vehicle access invites. Only when the user chooses to select or add contacts. Optional. Camera QR scanning, vehicle images, parking images, incident evidence, support documents, SOS media capture where enabled. Only when the related feature is used, except SOS emergency mode where background capture may be triggered as described below. Optional, but required for camera-based features. Microphone / Audio SOS evidence recording, support evidence, masked call/call recording where applicable. During active calls, SOS activation, or user-triggered recording feature. Optional, but required for audio/SOS evidence features. Photos / Videos / Files Uploading vehicle images, parking images, profile/support documents, incident evidence, SOS audio/video files. Only when the user selects or uploads files, or SOS capture is active. Optional. Phone / Call Functionality Connecting users through system/virtual numbers, customer support calls, SOS-related communication. When the user initiates or receives a Park Assign-enabled call. Optional, but required for call features. Notifications OTP, move alerts, SOS alerts, emergency updates, secondary owner invites, parking/payment updates, account security notices. When notification permission is enabled or when service messages are required. Optional, but important for service alerts. Device / Log Data Security, fraud prevention, debugging, crash reports, misuse detection, service improvement. When the user accesses or uses Park Assign services. Required for secure platform operation. Location Consent: The user consents to Park Assign accessing and processing precise or approximate location data for features such as finding nearby parking, saving or sharing parked vehicle location, QR-based move vehicle validation, SOS/emergency alerts, emergency tracking, parking owner/vendor location mapping, route/navigation support, and safety-related notifications. Background Location: Park Assign may request background or continuous location access only where required for an active safety, emergency, or tracking feature. The user may disable location permission from device settings at any time, but this may affect feature availability or accuracy.

2. Contacts, Emergency Contacts, and Secondary Owners

The user confirms that if they add another person as an emergency contact, secondary owner, family member, friend, parking contact, or invitee, the user has the necessary permission or lawful basis to share such person’s name, mobile number, relationship, and related access details with Park Assign. Emergency contacts and secondary owners may receive app notifications, SMS, WhatsApp messages, calls, emails, location links, SOS alerts, vehicle access invitations, move vehicle alerts, or other safety/service messages connected with the user’s Park Assign account. The primary user may remove or revoke such access from the app where available, subject to technical and legal limitations.

3. Camera, Media, Audio, Video, and Background SOS Capture

The user consents to Park Assign accessing camera, microphone, photos, videos, and files for QR scanning, vehicle/parking images, support uploads, incident evidence, and SOS safety features. SOS Audio/Video Evidence: If the user activates the SOS feature, Park Assign may capture, store, process, and transmit audio, video, images, location, and other emergency-related information for future reference, safety review, support, evidence preservation, dispute resolution, or lawful request handling. Such capture may occur in the background only when the SOS feature is active and only to the extent permitted by device permissions, operating-system rules, and applicable law. The user understands that SOS media and location data may be shared with selected emergency contacts, authorized support teams, technology service providers, or lawful authorities where necessary for safety, support, or legal compliance. Park Assign is not an official emergency service and users should contact police, ambulance, fire, hospital, or other official emergency numbers directly in life-threatening situations.

4. Masked Calling and Call Recording Consent

Park Assign may provide a feature to connect a vehicle owner, requester, parking user, parking operator, support agent, or other authorized party through a system-generated number, virtual number, masked number, or third-party call-routing service. Park Assign will not directly disclose the personal mobile number of one party to the other unless required by law or expressly permitted by the user. Call Recording: The user agrees that calls made through Park Assign’s system number or integrated third-party calling service may be recorded, stored, monitored, analyzed, and used for safety, quality, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, misuse investigation, customer support, legal compliance, and audit purposes. By using the call feature, the user consents to such recording and agrees to inform any other participant where required by applicable law. Recorded calls may be processed by third-party telecom, cloud, or call-recording service providers engaged by Park Assign. Park Assign will use reasonable safeguards to protect such recordings and will retain them only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or legal requirements.

5. WhatsApp, SMS, Email, Phone, RCS, and App Communication Consent

By registering or using Park Assign, the user agrees to receive transactional, service, security, safety, and emergency communications through SMS, WhatsApp, email, phone call, RCS, push notification, in-app notification, or other available communication channels. These communications may include OTPs, login alerts, QR move vehicle alerts, emergency/SOS alerts, emergency contact notifications, secondary owner invitations, vehicle updates, parking booking updates, payment/refund updates, account/security alerts, support messages, policy updates, and important service notices. Marketing or promotional communication will be sent only in accordance with applicable law, user consent preferences, and telecom/platform rules. The user may opt out of promotional communications where permitted, but transactional, safety, security, and emergency communications may still be sent as required to provide the service.

6. Payments and Razorpay

Park Assign may use Razorpay and/or other authorized payment gateways, banks, UPI providers, card networks, payment aggregators, or payment processors to process payments, refunds, subscriptions, parking fees, service charges, deposits, or other transactions. Park Assign does not intend to store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, net banking passwords, or sensitive banking credentials on its servers. Payment data may be shared with Razorpay and other payment/service providers to complete transactions, prevent fraud, manage refunds, comply with law, and maintain transaction records.

7. QR Move Vehicle Alert Consent

The user consents to Park Assign processing QR scan logs, vehicle reference IDs, scan time, approximate location, requester details, device/log data, messages, call attempt details, and communication records for the Move Vehicle Alert feature. This is used to notify the vehicle owner/authorized user, prevent misuse, investigate abuse, and improve safety.

8. Third-Party Service Providers and Data Sharing

The user consents to Park Assign sharing necessary information with third-party service providers and partners strictly for service delivery, legal compliance, security, payment processing, communication delivery, call masking/recording, cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, maps/location services, customer support, parking operators, emergency contacts, secondary owners, and public/government data aggregators where applicable. Park Assign will not sell personal information to advertisers. Data sharing will be limited to the purpose for which it is required, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

9. Public/Government Vehicle Information Disclaimer

Vehicle, challan, fine, registration, or other public vehicle-related information displayed in Park Assign may be obtained from government portals, authorized providers, public sources, or data aggregators. Park Assign does not represent any government authority unless expressly stated. Users should verify critical information from official sources before taking any legal, financial, or operational action.

10. Retention of Data and Records

Park Assign may retain account, consent, transaction, communication, QR scan, call recording, SOS, audio/video, location, parking, support, and security records for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, service delivery, safety, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance, audit, accounting, and regulatory requirements. Data may be deleted, anonymized, archived, or securely isolated when no longer required, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. User Rights, Withdrawal, and Account Deletion

The user may manage certain permissions from the device settings or app settings. The user may request access, correction, update, withdrawal of consent, or deletion of account/personal data by contacting Park Assign at info@parkassign.com, subject to identity verification, technical feasibility, pending transactions, legal retention, safety records, dispute records, fraud prevention needs, and applicable law. Withdrawal of consent may affect availability of features such as SOS, location sharing, QR scan, masked calling, emergency contact alerts, parking discovery, or payment services.
